NowShout aims to correct material errors promptly and transparently.
Readers may report an error to contact@nowshout.com. This is a monitored NowShout mailbox. A useful request identifies the article, disputed statement and supporting evidence. Requests are evaluated against authoritative sources and the article’s provenance record.
Minor typographical changes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a formal note. Material factual corrections, changed legal outcomes or clarifications that affect a reader’s understanding should include an appropriate correction or update note and an accurate modified date. Content must not be silently rewritten to conceal a significant error.
A disagreement with a reported court finding is not automatically an error; the article should accurately attribute the finding and preserve distinctions between allegations, arguments and orders. New appeals, reviews or later orders may require an outcome update even when the original report was accurate when published.
Removal or anonymisation requests receive a privacy, safety, legal and public-interest review. NowShout does not promise removal merely because information is inconvenient, and does not refuse changes merely because a source was once public.
Correction requests should not include sensitive personal material unless it is necessary for the review.
